I / STKII Radio emergency control |

In
consequence of the wide range of components, manufacturing plants and
transfer lines with programmable logical controllers have the tendency
to corresponding failures. High deficiency costs are arising out of long
down times.
A fast manual radio control shortens the dead time of production plants and eases the maintenance. |
|||
|
For quick
start-up and for rapid correction of failures, the lines must be able
to be manually operated in disturbance range. The radio remote control
is transmitting the corresponding switching functions to the PLC - the
time consuming cable routing is to be dropped. The radio remote control
replaces an existing, hand actuated, wired control unit. Instead of the
hand actuated stationary control unit, the base transceiver station is
plugged in and is immediately ready for operation - Thereby dead times
are reduced considerably. |
|||
| Further advantages of STK: | |||
| • handy, lightweight, robust • freely programmable • simple to operate • minor installation effort • flexible adaptation to various requirements • short-term modifications are easy to realize • decrease of start-up times • fast access on failure search and removal • minimization of down times - increases the availability of the system • prevention of faulty charges |

Our mobile radio
equipment is operating on a particular frequency with short wavelength.
In this way, faulty operations by radio interferences are excluded. An
automatic switch-off inside the radio receiver is providing for additional
security.
As an insurance against unauthorized use, the radio control unit is equipped with a key switch. A further protection will be effected by programming of the PLC, implementing codes for manual and automatic operations. |
